Welcome to the page of the Scriptural Rosary!

This project seeks to offer a modest contribution toward making the meditative prayer of the Rosary easier and more profound. The Scriptural Rosary draws on an ancient and widespread tradition of praying the Rosary bead by bead, enriched with inspiring passages from Scripture.

This form of prayer helps us enter more deeply into the mysteries of Jesus’ life and to dwell in contemplative prayer. We draw from the fullness of the Bible and allow God’s Word to flow into the repeated rhythm of the Rosary. With every “Hail Mary,” a word from Scripture is sown into your heart.

Do you have questions about the Scriptural Rosary?

Here you’ll find brief answers to questions like:
Is this a new form of prayer? Isn’t it too much? How can I pray it specifically?

“I am excited about the many references to various scripture passages that bring the prayer to life and open up new contexts. The Scriptural Rosary is becoming more and more my favorite prayer.” Helga

“I found booklets of the Scriptural Rosary myself in a church and I am very excited about it. Thank you and God’s blessings!“ Irmgard

“Everyone is very pleased with it in our prayer group. The Scriptural Rosary is just ‘awesome’!” Alois

The Scriptural Rosary is a non-profit project.
